UID18 | Design Talks & Degree Show is our annual celebration of the extraordinary student talent here at the Umeå Institute of Design. This year's projects and conversations aim to generate discussion on whether design and technology can be used to strengthen our humanity. Preparations are already well under way as our graduating students from product, interaction and transportation design dedicate themselves to soon share the results from their thesis work.

The event will include student and company presentations, a design exhibition as well as engaging conversations with key influencers from the industry. UID18 will also host networking opportunities including portfolio reviews and the usual surprise happenings that make attending the event a memorable experience every year. We welcome our current and future strategic partners to join us during two days packed with insights about where design is going, presented by the next generation of talent that wants to take it there.
