Saving lives are always going to be relevant in society, whether it is treating sicknesses, mending broken bones or saving those in need of rescue.
Mass rescue operations are incidents where a large number of people are in need of rescue. They are defined by the fact that the emergency situation require more rescue resources than what is available.
CRSQ is a live feedback positioning tracker system developed to provide a better overview and faster search during mass rescue operations. Emergency tracking beacons are fitted to emergency equipment such as life vests and life rafts. The rescue boats´ and helicopters´ receivers tracks the position of the beacons. Every position is displayed and updated in real-time to all resources involved who can with the information better organize and prioritize the rescue operation.
