Project information

A patient-centered experience for people undergoing ovarian stimulation as part of their fertility treatment journey.

Assisted Reproduction relates to reproduction happening through various procedures to treat different forms of fertility impairment and infertility. In Vitro Fertilization is one type of treatment that can be an option for couples with infertilitity, individuals or same-sex couples. In the beginning of the treatment, during ovarian stimulation, the person with ovaries need to self-inject different types of medications for several days to stimulate the ovaries to grow several eggs. Patients often feel overwhelmed with the amount of medications and information, a strict medication time schedule, cooling storage, and fear of having to self-inject.

Trine aims to make this physical and emotional challenging experience more positive and welcoming by increasing support, confidence and ease-of-use. The concept ecosystem is made up of three major components: a unified solution for ovarian stimulation injectable medications, a kit with all the needed items and a digital platform that provides a clear overview of the treatment and connects peers. When physical and digital concepts work together, they can provide a unified source of information and medications for patients, resulting in a smoother experience.
