Project information

FiDO is a phygital driving assistant for trust building in semi-autonomous vehicles that translates vehicle’s learning process into poetic visuals.

A circular physical interface connected with a mobile application can be added as a plug-in to different types of autonomous vehicles to calibrate trust between driver and vehicle. FiDO represents the vehicle’s status in poetic visuals on its digital interface, where drivers can build a dialogue of trust with the vehicle through establishing mutual expectations through honest communication. FiDO will express how the vehicle is learning from driver’s behaviors and driving patterns, as well as providing personalized content for them through its screen.
