UID22 will host talks with invited special guests Hugh McCann
(Strategic Partners Lead at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation), Malin
Orebäck (Senior Design Director at McKinsey Design) and Mikael
Gordh (Design Director at the Volvo Group).
Hugh McCann is
the Strategic Partners Lead at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation,
acting as a change agent for industry-leading pioneers implementing
circular business models. The Strategic Partner programme works
with a number of influential businesses across key sectors of the
economy, to demonstrate circular innovation at scale. Hugh's
expertise is centered around building organisational capacity,
circular economy strategies, collaborating with supply chain
partners and pilot commercial offerings.
Malin
Orebäck is a Senior Design Director based in
McKinsey Design's Stockholm Studio. She is a member of the EMEA
Design Leadership team and leads McKinsey Design's work in
sustainability and circular economy. She has 28+ years of
consultancy experience driving multidisciplinary teams and serving
global clients from a wide range of industries. Her work drives
innovation challenges in the energy, packaging, waste management
and logistics sectors. Malin graduated from UID in 1993.
Mikael
Gordh has an extensive experience in
the UX game, with a decade long background in the
telecommunications industry before heading to Volvo 15 years ago.
Today, Mikael leads the Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Buses
and Volvo Penta design teams in the Gothenburg design studio,
covering the complete customer experience including Vehicle design
(Exterior, Interior & Components), Digital User experience (UX)
and Service design. Mikael Gordh has an MFA in Industrial Design
from HDK, Gothenburg.
